Greetings fellow learners!
I’m Oktay Ince and I’m the creator of Expeditionary Learning! First, I wanted to thank you for taking the time to get to know me and my website.
As an educator, explorer and scientist based in Columbus, Ohio, USA, and I have decided to start the movement of Expeditionary Learning through this website to share my passion on Expeditionary Learning, Global Education, STEM Education, Environmental Sustainability and many other various related topics. I’m hoping to connect everyone in the globe who are also interested in these topics.
I have received numerous national and international grants and fellowships that allowed me to travel across the globe and experience different cultures, regions, geographies, climates, ecosystems, and systems. I’m also a National Geographic Certified Educator who wants to know more about the world systems. I think this is the right time to share the wealth of knowledge with the world through my lens, hoping to inspire others in near and far!
I must note that this is not a travel-blog but instead, it’s a source of inspiration to learn differently. I believe in the power of expeditionary learning, and I know that everyone can have this type of learning in their own way.
As you venture around my website, you’ll find my blog posts based on categories that are centered around expeditions I took as part of my professional and personal growth.
When I’m not blogging, you can find me searching for new opportunities to grow, gardening, cooking, or spending time with my beautiful family.
Once again, thank you for visiting my website. If you have any questions or just want to say hi, feel free to contact me at naturecuriousmind@gmail.com. I’d love to hear from you!
